I am a Greek artist, multi-crafter, designer and architect based in Barcelona. My interdisciplinary practice moves between art, craftsmanship, and design.
I am deeply interested in the way humans relate to the objects that surround us — furniture, decorative pieces, clothing, ceramics, artworks. All those seemingly inert things that inhabit our spaces and, often unnoticed, shape how we think, feel, and exist in the world.
Since the beginnings of human culture, objects have carried meaning. In mythical worldviews, material things were not just tools — they were essential elements for understanding the world and our place within it. Today, many objects have been stripped of that symbolic and transformative power. And yet, they still shape us. They are always there, quietly present, influencing our everyday experience.
My practice seeks to reclaim this active and meaningful dimension of objects. I’m interested in challenging the normative languages of design — particularly in furniture and architecture — and in creating space for the unexpected, for what resists functionality or perfection. I work with clay as a central material due to its ancestral and expressive qualities, but I’m not limited to it: each idea calls for its own material language. What matters most to me is letting intuition and process guide the form.
Through totemic table legs, shelving units that highlight their exposed joints, and pieces that combine traditional craftsmanship with spontaneous gestures, I aim to create objects that invite a more conscious and emotional relationship with the material world. I’m not interested in self-sufficiency or perfection, but rather in the connections — human, material, symbolic — that make each piece - and this world- possible.
My work is an ongoing exploration of the idea that objects are never neutral: they act, they speak, they reflect us. And I truly believe that, if we let them, they can help us build a more sensitive, attentive, and human world.
